My coaching focuses on guiding individuals through challenges by actively listening and creating a space for exploration. I specialize in working with professionals in the software development industry, particularly women in technology or technology-supportive roles.

 

Given the high levels of burnout and the rapid pace of change in this field, coaching becomes an essential tool for all business professionals. During our coaching relationship, we will collaboratively set goals and work on making small, incremental changes that lead to significant impacts.

How it works

As your coach, my philosophy is to help you develop personal or professional objectives. I will not provide answers to challenges or tell you what to do. Instead, I will act as a facilitator to help you ask better questions and explore your answers. I will serve as your guide while you create a plan, define outcomes, and experiment to move your thinking forward. Think “facilitator,” “action-oriented,” and “thinking partner.” 

 

This is a valuable experience because you will put in the hard work and reap the rewards that come with achieving your goals.

 

My Approach: I take a pragmatic approach to my coaching relationship. I believe the beginning of a healthy relationship starts with a shared understanding of mutual respect, confidentiality, and support. This can be accomplished by open dialog and arrangements at the onset and along the way during re-alignment opportunities.  Challenges will arise. I am committed to embracing continuous improvement and an agile state of mind.

Reflection: I will provide space to reflect on your experiences, including postmortems and pre-mortems, to better handle future situations based on past events 

Self-discovery: I will integrate reflection with activities, conversations, goals, and continuous learning to supportself-discovery.

Goals: I will ensure my clients have clear and actionable goals. 

Ethical Conduct: I will create an environment where confidentiality, respect, and integrity are always upheld, guiding my actions, interactions, and conversations.

Assessments:  I will offer assessments when they can serve and help.  I support using assessments in my coaching practice as a tool to help enhance learning.  Assessments can bring valuable feedback and data to our conversations and can be seamlessly incorporated.
